PAULA SEEGY GALLERY

In the vibrant heart of Milan, within the ancient cultural district of the Cinque Vie, the Paula Seegy Gallery opens in 2023 at Via San Maurilio 14. Located on the ground floor of an 18th-century building, the gallery stands out for its large windows that engage with the street. The space is designed as a dynamic and multifunctional venue, combining historical architecture with contemporary exhibition programming that values diverse visual languages, from painting and drawing to sculpture. The layout favors flexible solutions that allow for critical and thematic pathways, supporting both solo exhibitions and collective, site-specific projects.

The curatorial focus is on research and promotion of modern and contemporary artists, primarily from the Italian 20th-century, whose work explores conceptual, formal and social issues, ranging from technical experimentation to interdisciplinary dialogues. In addition to exhibitions, the gallery hosts events such as openings, talks with artists and curators, critical readings, and workshops, creating a space for critical discussion and active participation also for younger generations.
As an active hub in the cultural district of the Cinque Vie, the gallery aims to become a reference point for new collectors, curators, and enthusiasts, promoting artistic research and bringing back the long-standing value of collecting.
